The first wine of our Mythology Series, MEDUSA is both beast and beauty. Fermented 50% whole-cluster in our concrete tank, her dark, inky beauty will stop you in your tracks. With a flash of ripe blackberry, black pepper and on the nose, she makes a bold entrance and the lush fruit character coats your palate with more black fruit, blueberry, herbaceous hints of anise and a minerally finish. The wine has depth and is well-integrated with a smooth, settled feeling expressing both power and restraint simultaneously. Perfect to pair with a briny, soft blue cheese, slow-roasted meats or wild mushroom risotto with fresh herbs. Our MEDUSA is a wonder to be sure and will age well over the next 7-10 years.
