Dark purple and ruby, this intense Malbec shows dark fruit aromas of blackberry, black currant and ripe plum with hints of cracked black peppercorns and dried orange peel. On the palate, she leads with juicy fruit notes and a round, full mouthfeel with a balanced acidity and a freshness that lifts all its food companions. Growing at a much lower elevation than her Argentinian sister, Washington Malbec is more intensely fruit-driven but has less aggressive or intense tannins. Our Malbec still has a firm tannic structure and gorgeously long finish.
