Tasting notes
While everyone else is out here blending and borrowing, this wine is perfectly happy standing on its own — and honestly, it shows. Right out of the glass she's dark and dramatic — black currant, dark plum and ripe raspberries with a savory undercurrent of dried thyme and sage that gives her some real edge. The palate is rich and layered, rich red fruit giving way to herby depth and a kick of black pepper that lets you know she means business. The tannins have serious grip but never overstay their welcome — long, warm finish with enough zip to keep things lively. A natural at any dinner table — especially if something hearty is on the menu, she’s equally happy being opened tonight or stashed away for a few years. Pour this one with purpose.
